Weather was bad during our stay but that does not excuse the fact that the pitches are small, inaccessible, and grubby. It was, frankly, a mudbath with a choice of muddy tracks to grass pitches or gritty slopes to shelves cut from the hillside. the toilet facilities were clean, we did not use restaurant.

The location is good, inside the Nature Park of Montesinho. Most of the pitches are very cramped, uneven and many of the paths and site roads are in a poor state of repair. The single wash-block is well equipped but serves a very large area. The reception and restaurant staff were very unwelcoming and unhelpful in response to basic requests.

We stayed for 4 nights and loved it. Our pitch had a wonderful view over wooded slopes. Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The restaurant even had vegetarian options on the menu: brilliant! Site is quite close to Braganca, although you need to drive there.
